I have an obit and am trying to find information about a soldier, James WILSON. I can find only one record that says he enlisted 10 Aug 1862 and discharged 10 Aug 1863, but this obit says he also had service in the navy. His wife and children are unidentified yet. The Sesquicentennial for the Civil War in 2011 and we are developing histories of all of our soldiers and those who are buried here. He was in the 103 Ohio Infantry. I searched until I found that Lorain County had the records of the 103 Ohio Infantry. ( Obituray image link here. See page 5 of this link.)

I am interested in information about my grandfather, Gustave Apai. Gustave came to this country through Ellis Island in 1907, but I do not know when he came to Elyria.
